Seasonal Day Retreats

Align with the rhythms of nature.

I offer seasonal day retreats in collaboration with Escapada Natural Health Clinic in Dun Laoghaire.

If you’d like to live more in tune with the world around you - and your own inner nature- this is an invitation to begin.

Rooted in The Escapada Four Pillars - movement, nourishment, natural treatments, and deep restoration - these immersive retreats are designed to support you in coming back into balance, gently and sustainably.

Inspired by the ancient practices of Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine, each retreat reflects the unique energy of the season. In these traditions, the seasons can be associated with specific organs, energetic qualities, and emotional landscapes - offering a powerful framework for understanding and supporting your wellbeing.

Each retreat day weaves together seasonal yoga, nature-based practices, targeted health talks, and Yin & (optional) Pin, creating space to slow down, reconnect, and restore.

You’ll be supported to nourish your body, calm your mind, and align your energy with the natural world—so you can move through each season with greater ease, awareness, and vitality.

Summer Reset

Element: Fire | Organs: Heart & Small Intestine

Summer in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a time of expansion, joy, and connection, governed by the Heart - the organ of circulation, consciousness, and emotional balance.

In yogic philosophy, this season is mirrored in the energies of of Manipura Chakra (solar plexus) and Anahata Chakra (heart) - where inner fire meets openness and courage meets compassion. This is the space of yogic tapas - the steady transformative fire within all of us that supports growth, clarity and aligned action.

When balanced, this energy expresses as confidence, vitality and a deep sense of connection. When out of balance, it can show up as anxiety, restlessness, poor sleep or feeling emotionally overwhelmed and overstimulated.

As the Irish landscape comes into full bloom - with longer days, warmth and a sense of aliveness in the air, this is a natural time to expand outward while staying rooted and steady within.

Expect to leave feeling energised, open, and deeply connected while also being grounded and supported.

An invitation to embrace the fullness of the most Yang season of the year, guided by your inner fire and held by the steadiness of the earth beneath you.

Investment: €130 or €330 for a seasonal package of three retreats

Autumn Grounding

Element: Metal | Organs: Lungs & Large Intestine

Autumn invites us inward. In TCM, it is governed by the Lungs, and large intestine - organs connected to breath, immunity, boundaries and the process of letting go. It is a time associated with release, refinement and sometimes grief - gently shedding what is no longer needed.

In yogic philosophy, this mirrors the movement of prana (life force) through the breath. It also connects to the practice of aparigraha - the art of non-grasping and softening our hold on what we no longer need to carry.

Our yoga practices will work through the heart (Anahata), throat (Vishuddha), and root (Muladhara) - supporting emotional release, honest expression, and a grounded sense of stability.

After the expansive, outward energy of summer, autumn offers a natural pause - a time to return to yourself, regulate the system and prepare the body and mind for the quieter months ahead.

As the Irish landscape begins to shift - leaves turning, air cooling and light softening - this is a gentle invitation to slow down, reflect and honour the cycles of release mirrored in nature around you.

This is a space to reset, process, and prepare - an opportunity to soften, clear and come back to yourself.

Expect to leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more anchored, aligned with the quiet wisdom of the season and the steady rhythm of your breath.

Investment: €130 or €330 for a seasonal package of three retreats

Winter restoration

Element: Water | Organs: Kidney & Bladder

Winter in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a time of stillness, conservation, and deep restoration, governed by the Kidneys - the root of our vital energy (Jing), resilience, and inner reserves.

In yogic philosophy, this season resonates with the energies of the Muladhara Chakra (root) and Svadhisthana Chakra (sacral) - where grounding meets fluidity, and deep rest supports renewal. This is the space of inner stillness and quiet strength, where energy is conserved, nourished, and gently replenished beneath the surface.

When balanced, this energy expresses as calm, resilience, and a deep sense of safety within oneself. When out of balance, it can show up as fatigue, fear, low motivation, or feeling depleted and disconnected.

As the Irish landscape softens into winter - with shorter days, cooler air, and a natural invitation inward, this is a time to slow down, reflect, and restore while staying gently connected to your inner warmth.

Expect to leave feeling deeply rested, grounded, and replenished - with a renewed sense of inner strength and quiet clarity.

An invitation to honour the most Yin season of the year, where restoration becomes the foundation for future growth, and stillness becomes a source of profound strength.
